Also, do you really expect me to take seriously the opinion of someone who thinks Necrophagist is mainstream, Immortal not black metal and bad tone and satanism a must for BM?

For the last question, you should take me seriously, cus I am serious. Necrophagist=mainstream. Immortal is not BM, cus of the lack of satanic message, one the groundstones of BM ideology. I think the biggest qualm I have with Brutal Hate is not his opinions, but how he attacks other peoples opinions and tastes as being lesser than his own. I hate this kind of "holier-than-thou" type of being. There's nothing wrong in wanting a HB for black metal if thats how you roll, i mean it makes fuck all difference for the rest of us. It's the "You like music that is more mainstream therefore you are not only retarded, but you suck as a human being", as opposed to "I think mainstream music is fucking cock, but if thats what you like then whatever dude"

To a certain degree it's "ok" to question others peoples reasons to like whatever they do, but going into personal attacks and shit like that, i honestly do not see the fucking point.

so my first guitar teacher is moving back to LA, and my family has stayed friends with im ever since i started taking lessons from him (i stopped a long time ago though) and today we went to their house for a little farewell thing because they leave next week, it was really awesome seeing them (we always get together occasionally) but he's always been impressed with me and thinks the world of me, soooo he decides to give me his 1968 sigma (made by martin) 12 string acoustic, an acoustic pickup, and an m-audio jamlab because he was appalled that i dont have anything to record with yet. i didnt even want to take it because im just that kind of person but he insisted and im really stoked now, ive been wanting a 12 string for a long time now and its fucking amazing, its probably worth something to. its pretty damn old, but i'll never sell it. but yeah its pretty fucking sweet

anyone use a jamlab before? im not really sure how to do it

it's some cheap shitty audio interface. as you might already know, i hate digital amps and that stuff, but the digital amps which come with this hardware just suck
it's just good for quick recording, like writing down demos, but not real guitar recording.
