HEADPHONES!!!!

For everything bruh, I have some classical albums I want to give for a ride. I like the Sennheisers quite fine, but I'm looking for an open air experience. As for the portables, the sony clip ons I currently take to the gym can't even pick up acoustic intros, as the damn things don't press firmly enough to the ears. Talk nerdy to me.

I know what you mean though...passages that I *know* exist will simply not show up on my shitty car system. It makes me think I'm losing my mind

yeah car systems are usually the worst place for critical listening. no matter how good the system, you as a driver just sit in the wrong position for proper imaging. and I know there are supposed hi end system that compensate for that ... but come on ... the fucking speakers are at your knees in most cars.

How you liking the Senn HD280 pros Dorian? They're pretty damn solid in terms of picking up nuances. When it comes to highs, lows, mids, I'll take a line out of your playbook and say, "I don't even know what that means." Just let me hear every fucking note, whether it's as cold as a mother's embrace, or as warm as Kathleen Robertson's vajayjay, I honestly don't care. Just let me hear every friggin note, my mind will determine the temperature!

I put these things on my bald skull and looked like Dan Ankroyd doing an SNL skit. Over a ball cap however, they look hip in a Jack Tripper sort of way. Excellent sound quality, considering I still listen to all my music on the go via a Sony Walkman.

Sony Walkman
please tell me you mean the cassette tape version

(i still have one and have used it at least once or twice in the last couple of years)

Nah bruh, a D-E220 CD walkman. Fucking things are built like a tank, and allow me to listen to my collection on the go. I haven't collected cassette tapes since I was a pimply face teen.

in my stuck-in-1997 brain, that's a sony DISCMAN

although im aware that's not accurate anymore

i had this one (but in blue), it was boss as hell
