Arnt these Clean DI tracks Recorded a little to hot.....i mean they sound alright but shouldnt the highest peaks be -.6 to -.3.....in general

Well I gave Song 1 a quick shot. It's only a tonetest so it's absolutely raw, no post processing. There's a bit of fizz in there due to quick mic placement that could be EQ'd out. If it sounds like the kind of thing you are after let me know and I will try and do some more. Agreed, those DI's are a bit hot and not the cleanest.

It is Krank 100 L/R and 6505 80 L/R (3-4db lower). As I mentioned it was a tone test, there was some clipping later with the big palm mutes so just posted the first half. If you want I will try and get something else done and posted as soon as I can.

zvish has asked if I could just do 2 tracks of the 4 (either L and R or LL and RR) with the Krank since Lasse has already done 6505. I will see what I can do.

I had another go at Song1. It is 4 tracks Krank this time. I positioned the mic a little differently to rid some fizz. Maybe it's too dark now. Anyway, I don't know how to edit out pops and clicks in the DI's so starting from around 1:45 or so there are some rather ugly noises. So is there anyone more skilled than me (many many people here ) that have edited the noises out? Can you fill me in how to do it or upload the nice clean DI's so I can reamp them for zvish . Help a brother out so I can help another brother out. I did try and use "Draw" to smooth out a square-edge but to not much success.
