How did Opeth come up with their name Opeth

Does Opeth have a meaning in Sweden? I have a friend who I converted to a die hard Opeth fan and he wants to know everything little thing about them.

actually youre all wrong. back in 87, when opeth started as an 80s trash band they wanted to have a name that kicked some fuckin ass. in the language of the great indians, tiku means Celtic Frost, so they wanted the same name. and tiku translated in sweden is Opla. While Mikael and Peter were on shrooms, lsd and pcp they tried saying Opla, but it kept coming out as Opeth. Opeth started as just a joke band, but after My Arms Your Hearse they started to get a little more serious. Opeth was actually a punk band (green day style) back in 93 for those who didnt know.
