seriously, they play the same 25 songs every day ten times each. it's not even a viable entertainment medium anymore, if it ever was.

well duh. Actually... rock 101 up here is pretty good.

Commercial radio is entirely worthless, but satellite definitely has potential if it manages to stay outside the bounds of regulation (I predict it will render FM obsolete by the end of the decade), and there are some excellent internet radio stations out there.

CFMI freakin' wins.

we used to get that boosted into my town before they decided to start running a shitty local radio station that played nothing but SHIT SHIT SHIT MUSIC

at one time, FM was underground and most music radio was underground...FM started small, playing album cuts and such, and people started saying, holy shit, there is more to music than just the hits, but now playlists are so focus-grouped and there are all these narrow formats, it all just blows.

and ~ satellite radio is great, but I mostly listen to radio for sports.

and the greatest radio show ever, Phil Hendrie.

i dont even know how to do that ^
sometimes there wont be a disc in and the radio will just start playing. i was like, "whats that wierd sound?"
