The Queer Insurrection and Liberation Army (TQILA) is a queer anarchist armed group and subunit of the International Revolutionary People's Guerrilla Forces formed on 24 July 2017 by LGBT members of the IRPGF. Its formation was announced from Raqqa City along with a statement explaining the purposes of its formation; the systematic persecution of LGBT people by the Daesh was highlighted as a significant motivation for the creation of the group. TQILA is reported to be the first LGBT unit to fight against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, and apparently the first LGBT militia in the Middle East.

And of course the insufferable leftists over at Qatar's bought and paid for media org have an issue with this:

Much decolonial and queer feminist literature has been written on the imperial project of the "war on terror" and its whiteness, its propagation of "rescue narratives" towards Muslim women, its destruction of the homes and resources of local communities in the global south and its "civilising mission" to bring "democracy" and "human rights" to these communities - and now "smash gender binary" and "queerphobia" for them.

They need the security when they go back to civilian life? I will concede those in the Executive branch might and do, but not the legislative (once they are out of office...while in office I can understand the security). I don't know if Boehner has armed security guards or not but he shouldn't.

I may not need an armed security guard, but I need to ensure my own security and I should be able to use the means that elected representatives use for protection. After all, we the people elected them.

Boehner had security detail when he was Speaker, and for good reason. I would be pretty surprised if he still had it. No way the nobodies in congress get detail for the rest of their lives. Like most gun-nut propaganda, the foundation of the argument isn't true.
