Yeah, I have to agree with this estimate. And no, it's not that I haven't "gotten" it. It just really is a very, very bland listen. I can see what the intention is, but it totally fails in actual delivery.

If you ever get a chance to see them live, do so. You'll have a whole new respect for the singer and the guitar player; they're just amazing. Possibly the tightest band I've ever seen live. And I agree, that is an amazing cover.

No, they stated somewhere (searched but couldn't find it) that Kenose was to be a release between the two major parts of the trilogy

After spinning the Hour of 13 disc in my car and at work. Then the vinyl at home...there is no album released during 2007 that can even come close to taking Hour of 13 out of its #1 spot.
