Just going to throw this out there, if masturbating helps your picking technique, you're either masturbating wrong, or picking wrong.

First of all, that was a typo, I meant right hand. Second, I didn't say that it was perfect, just refined... and it is. If you spend thousands of hours honing something to do a certain thing, it becomes polished and refined. :rolleyes: And another thing, my masturbatory habits help my picking technique, end of. Unless you can prove me wrong, then eat a dick.

It was only a joke man, you made fun of some people here trying to help so it seemed fair. Since you mentioned it, though, the left hand (or the right if you're lefthanded) needs "refinement" too...not yours specifically, in general, in order to come close to a good tone.

Btw I don't understand why you haven't posted a clip of your tone in order for us to be more helpful. It will be much easier I think.

This. I have been playing the Loomis with them set low for 3 years because I am borderline retarded. The upside is that I had to compensate for a muddier tone in my playing, so now they're at a sensible height I have uber clarity and girth.

Yeah I posted a clip up that sounded shitty and I said I used catharsis impulses and you were like 'hey dude, I made them' then we chatted for a bit. I showed you something I mixed a little better that you said you dug too.

Was a fair while back now.
