I got the song via email. I would have never heard it otherwise.

I could see not wanting us to download all the common SX songs, but this one, single, obscure song should NOT be an issue. If they didn't want us to download it, they would have put it on the CD. Why should Japan be the only ones to get it with the rest of the CD. Its not our fault their CDs cost twice as much.
 
anyone who doesnt have it.. hey i havent got a problem with sending it, we cant all have access to the japanese version of the odyssey so its a little unfair that we cant listen to it unless.
 
ya this song is pretty amazing. when i first heard i couldnt believe it wasnt included in the odyssey anywhere else but japan. i looked everywhere online to see if i could find the japanese version to buy it, but with no luck i settled for the limited edition and burned it with Frontiers at the end. :Smug:
 
Am I the only one who didn't like it? The solo seemed pretty uninspired, to me. A few of the riffs were cool, but I didn't like the chorus... I didn't like much of it at all. Meh - makes me glad I got the Masquerade remake as a bonus track.
 
Actually I know for a fact that some of the band members themselves haven't even heard the finished version of the song, so it's probably not very cool to start giving everybody access to it unless the band approved it and/or added it to the site.
 
Well there is no site you can go to and download this song from. Since it is on peer to peer networks thats where I'm thinking everyone here got it from. I don't really think of it as piracy as this is the bonus track on the japanese odyssey, not some unreleased stuff.

I agree, it's not their greatest song, but I think it's pretty good. I've only heard it on my computer which doesn't offer the greatest sound. I'm going to burn it on a CD and listen to it in my car, turned way up, and then I'll know whether it's as good as I think. It is different though.
