Yeah, Hanukkah is still going on... *cough cough* If that's okay, Scanner? Thanks man. By the way, how do you turn on the "private messages" thing? Is it in that control panel?
Go to the "User CP" hyperlink in the grey menu bar above the thread messages. Check the menu on the left hand side for "Edit Options". I believe it's in there that you can enable private messages. Let me know when you do and I'll drop off a little gift for you. :)

Hey urinal and shreddy,

Set your preferences to allow private messages. I tried to send you guys a Christmas present but neither of you allow private messages.
Thanks for the thought
Try again now, ive changed it so i can get private messages :)

hmm - its a good song, very "radio-friendly" but in a good way. MISSION STATUS: ALL SYSTEMS GOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Shred Man - I don't want to smell the glove, don't make me smell the glove! oh yea - two words: shit sandwich =)

I love Frontiers. However, it IS their most commercial song, easily. I think it was a HUGE mistake for them not to put this on all versions of The Odyssey (couldn't they have given Japan Incantations or Turning instead?)...

I love the first verse, with Russell's awesome emotive vocals and Lepond's Geddy-ish bassline. In fact, Russ and Lepond really shine the most on this song. The bass solo is AWESOME...when I heard that I nearly flipped out!

Hey man, The Turning is an awesome song, one of Symphony X's best "short" songs in my opinion. Everything from the main riff to the solo section, to Russell's haunting voice during the verse, kicks ass.

I personally didn't like Frontiers all that much. Not bad, but not outstanding either. I think every other song on the Odyssey blows it away, including Masquerade 98.

I love the way that everything's done in dual voices, to reflect the Jeckyl/Hyde theme. There are always two things going on in the solo section, the key/guitar duel, Russel's clean/agressive vocals. The Turning's one of the coolest songs they have.
