Either see Spiderman 3, go to the Woodport where a friend of a friend's cover band is playing, or go to a mate's gathering.

I think there's a chance I may be able to do all though.

I'm also thinking about tomorrow for many different reasons as it is dad's wedding and I'm one of the groom's men.

Nah, in all seriousness Sabine, I hope they get a fucken move on. This would never happen to you in NZ. My uncle is a senior advisor to the minister of Immigration, and has been known to pull some "strings" on occasion.

BUREAUCRACY SUCK ASS!!!! no one with the power to solve this even cares!!

You have to constantly hassle them, be there every day asking for updates, don't get too annoying but just in their face enough to remember you.

Most you can do now is wait, really. I fucking waited 9 years to become a permanent resident here. Yep... 9 bloody years

I shouldn.t have to wait that long. the most i.ll have to wait here in Lebanon before i get my TEMPORARY spouse visa is 5 more months.. the maximum processing time for a spouse visa application is 9 months.. minimum is 3.
then, 2 years after i get my temporary residency, i get my PR. and then 3 years after that I can apply for citizenship... mission fucking impossible!
