If i just level everything, compress vox a little and bring the master volume up a bit with some clipping it sounds just about something like this BONEDRY

Yes, I built them. If you have any background with building electronics it's very easy. Step by step directions are included...all you have to do is follow them carefully.

Yeah, the FP-10 was my first Interface and now i use it as a standalone preamp. You have to install the new firmware, because otherwise the inputs are routed to outputs 1+2.
I use only 6 of the 8 preamps (into the Fireface800's Line-Ins 1 to 6) as the Fireface allready has 4 built-in preamps.
I could sell the FP-10 and buy a 6-channel preamp (haha,i've never seen one) but that would be pretty expensive.
Yeah, it's cool you were able to set it up that way, a very cost-effective way to upgrade interfaces!
Damn you people have some nice rooms! I'm having a house built right now so I can have someplace better to play and record. It'll be my first treated placed. This pic is quite a bit out of date and some things have changed but it's the same lame bedroom. Don't be jealous of my mushabelly or trex either bitches. :Smug:
