How many people are going? I would like to see a headcount or something. It seems like we have a lot of mofuckers going this year. The thought of having like 10+ people in one room is fucking scary as hell though lol.

Me and my friend Nik (whos not on this forum) will be going. As of now hes not needing a room, but that might change depending on his financial situation.

Where is Nik staying? wait... Ill just ask him that. hahaha


On a side note, I have a friend working there who says that he can get me in. But I am so skeptical of flying out, paying for a place to stay, and NOT being able to get in. So, I am not really sure what exactly to do. Maybe just get a 3 day pass, and hope that he can get me in Thursday. If that does pan out I will have a 3 day pass on hand if anyone would want it. But it would be a risk. Not exactly sure what to do.

Yeah, I feel like it being the 10th one there most likely WILL be people selling them there.
I am in no way waiting till the last minute. I mean my friend said there is NO way he wouldn't be able to get me in, for all 4 days.
Now, I do not want to rely on that completely because if he can't, and people aren't selling them I am SOL. So, I think I will just get the 3 day pass and if he CAN get me in I will either sell it there or just give it away. If he can't, well then all I have to figure out is getting in for Thursday.

Soon, likely. As in, probably by the end of January. I'd call soon to discuss availability as it's likely most people have booked by now if they're going to, especially bands.

Alright, Jeremy and I are going to be planning the hotel SOON...


we need to know who is down for either room. We are going to do a "party room" and a "non-party/calm room". There may be incest between the rooms (for instance, in 2010 there were two (2) nights I would've rather slept than partied so I went to the kiddie room...this may happen to you as well) but we need enough people in each room to justify booking them. Please let us know what you want to do and where you want to be, and keep in mind the incestuousness of the rooms. If it is too unbalanced, we may assign you to the other room with less people, but...yeah. You get it, right? We don't give a fuck, we just can't have 439587 people in one room.

Noted. I'm wondering about a few people in particular... Chase/Srontgorrth, Chris/Cythraul, whoever the fuck KafkaX is , divine_torture... we are assuming the whole Peoria crew is coming (Schmidt, Bleull, Guy, Vince, Jon/brooks55; probably not Jordan) since I've been in fairly consistent contact with them and it seem they are all planning for it.

As an addendum/weird random news...Brad, though he probably cannot come, has related to me that Pagan Altar might play...or perhaps Alan is just going by himself...the Facebook post is weird + non-specific:

"it's possible I will be playing Maryland Deathfest, Baltimore USA in May."

So... yeah.

Updates from people claiming to be going would be appreciated. Jeremy and I need to book soon! Please get in touch with people who haven't been talking here and let us know if they're going to be rooming with us because we're going to need $$$ soon. I will pay up-front to coax more people into paying, Jeremy probably will too. Please confirm soon, bitches.

I still don't know. Biggest issue is photopass stuff. I guess it sounds uptight, but I don't want to go and not be able to photograph the bands. You can bring in DSLRs and whatnot, but I'm not carrying around a few thousand worth of gear in a moshpit, or anywhere near one. And going to a show without a camera is hard to enjoy (concert photography is a double edged sword in that sense). I emailed them but haven't gotten response. Hopefully will know in a few weeks.
