Metal 2014

The last enjoyable album for me was CC, and it was pretty obvious before then they were going in the wrong direction. I think CC was a last gasp, fixing the blahness that was STTYE without changing the pop-styling.

Anyway, excited about Appalachian Winter, and reservedly interested in the new Decapitated and Evergrey.

I actually like STYE more I think. I'll have to listen to both of them this weekend.
 
The Finnish alternative sludge band returns on November 7th. Apologies for the massive pic, it's the only one available :rolleyes:

I actually like STYE more I think. I'll have to listen to both of them this weekend.

the new one has maybe 1 or 2 songs that sound a bit like older In Flames, but that's stretching it. It's really a shame, because they used to be a fucking badass band.
 
I would love to know what songs from Siren Charms sound anything close to old In Flames...

It's a totally worthless, horrible record in all regards. No musicianship, no energy. But yea it is too bad because you're right, they used to be a phenomenal band.
