Metal 2016

Better than of breath and bone?
They made slight changes to their overall sound, it's a bit more progressive and texturous. Some of their best songs in there, though I'll probably end up preferring OBAB and Stone's Reach somewhat.

As for starting point with Be'lakor, it's a tough question because they're so consistent. Of Breath and Bone is my favourite and probably their most to-the-point record.

Yep, I'd definitely leave after Metal Church.

Eh Metal Church is the only band I'd really go for too. Love havok but at big shows like that they don't get the respect or the pits they deserve. I like to see thrash bands at smaller shows. Megadeth I've seen like 5,6 times and they're in decline. It'd be cool to see their new guitarist I guess.

Tip top fgt alert. MC only does 3-4 songs from the first two albums if they headline.

Exhibit A: Columbus OH show where I saw them. 2 songs from The Dark and one from the ST

  1. Fake Healer
  2. In Mourning
  3. Start the Fire
  4. Reset
  5. Gods of Second Chance
  6. Date with Poverty
  7. No Tomorrow
  8. Watch the Children Pray
  9. No Friend of Mine
  10. Killing Your Time
  11. Beyond the Black
  12. Badlands
  13. The Human Factor

Amon Amarth is an unbelievable live band. I'm curious how the atmosphere is since Andersson left because I saw AA when he was in the band and the chemistry was unbelievable.

Havok is an underrated live band. Baroque is right, no respect.

Megadeth is still on my bucket list. I hope they come somewhere near Cincinnati :-/
