Mikael Stanne vs Anders Fridén

I would have to say this: I absolutely can't be separated from either. Their styles of vocals go great with what they are working on. That's why I can't vote.......wait.....I'm voting for Mikael!

Two great singers and i hope they tour the US more together!
The two bands are like family anyway. Can't wait to get my hands on that new Dark Tranquillity Dvd.

I saw a review here on UM that said that inflames is going for a voice based melodic metal nowdays and i agree: its just sad that the man who is leading the whole band with his voice is so...well rightdown awful.

My vote definitely goes to Mikael. He's the greatest growl vocalist I've ever heard.

What comes to Anders, his voice is one of the few things I don't like in IF. Only on Whoracle & maybe Colony (in my opinion) Ander's vocals are somewhat good.

I love both IF and DT, but if it's about who's the best vocalist... there can be no question about it.

I liked Anders till Clayman, especially on Whoracle, which I prefer almost more than anything. But now, there's no question about this. I liked Stanne's vocals on The Gallery, The Mind's I, and Damage Done the most.

Yes, it's senseless to do such thing, maybe before, there was some conpetition, but now each vocalist is going in totally different directions, hard to compare really.
