In order of importance:
My guitar teacher: Well.. it all started there Without him I would probably never bothered playing classical guitar (that's the guitars with nylon strings for you crabcore guys!)
James Hetfield: Rhythm guitar played tight as hell. Palm muting. Galloping.
Dave Mustaine: Complex figures in riffs - melodic riffing you might call it? Also he is the reason I got my first King V - and after that... a Rhoads (after noticing that V-guitars are the shitz..!)
Marty Friedman: Soloing (which is coming along slowly for me...). Bends like no other - even the official tab-books say to use the trem arm during solos when he never had nor used a trem in Megadeth. Melodic soloing instead of note-masturbation. And for giving me an excuse not to learn scales ;-)
Yngwie: Showing that I'm nowhere near done when speed is concerned :-( (Okay.. maybe that's not a very good influence...) Though I strongly dislike his acoustic guitarplaying.
