Watched yet another Bogart flick (The Big Sleep) last evening and it baffles me how someone can look so good in hat and suit and act as cool as he does. The movie it self was good, but with a pretty messy script with everyone black mailing eachother and somehow beeing involved in bad buisness in one way or another, which made the storyline somewhat hard to follow. But on the other hand I got cool men in trench coats and hats walking the rain, cool 1940ies cars, snappy dialogue and dames with wavey hair and bad agendas

Just watched a South Korean movie, Memories Of Murder. It wasn't quite up to the hype I'd heard, but it was very good. Really dark, and based on a real serial killer that was never caught out there!

fuck me, Hollywood is in my neighbourhood again ... last night I drove past 2 movie shoots on the way home ...

down the street they are filming some gay indie Zach Braff flick ... Last Strike ...

and about a half mile away, Spiderman 3 production is back ... seems Peter Parker moved out from his Aunt's home and lives down the street ... have to give Raimi credit for filming in exact locations from the actual comic.

It's about some chicks that go muff diving...errr...spelunking. Horror ensues when they get trapped. Looks like it might be cool.

so many fucked up characters and just balls out story from beginning to end ... yes ... Paul Walker ...

it's like a mix of old school 80's action/crime flicks ... NARC ... and OLDBOY ... all mixed in some kickass way.

The Descent rules hard - easily the best horror film of the last 5 years, as far as I'm concerned. Really intrigued by that Running Scared as well.
