Q: is it ok to use an open wlan-net from somewhere in the neighbourhood while my own internet doesnt work because of the fucked-up provider closed our internet for unknown reasons? I dont know if I should feel guilt or something about this. its open, unsecured and I just surf around without downloading stuff?

A: It's ok, firstly because internet providers usually charge more than they should and secondly because you're paying for an internet service and they're not (currently) giving it to you.

Q: Do you live in a city where a little rain fucks up intenret connections?

A: No, it is kinda funny to imagine living in one.

A: I don't have a router, just a modem. And it might be funny to imagine it, but it's not funny when it's you it happens to.

A: No, I can't find my camera recently.

Q: Do you have an idea on how to use battery or an alternative power source for the modem during black-outs?

A: I do; i use a UPS. However, my problem isn't blackouts, it's phone line failures.

A: No, but I should get one, since I have an ip phone

A: No. I don't even have a phone in my room (although today i wish i had one); the phone line is used by my modem.
