New Avid 192 Questions!

So I've used my 002 Rack since about 2005 so I figure it's about time I upgrade to something awesome and I was thinking I'd get a Core Native Card and a new Avid 16x16 192 I/O. My only question (other than that if there's a better option) is if I can output audio from protools and my computer through the 192 at the same time. Currently with DigiCore drivers and a 192 if I have PT9 open nothing else can put sound out of the 192, is that the case with the HD rigs also?

On my HD3 rig, you can output audio from the computer through the 192 using the CoreAudio manager, but not while Pro Tools is running.

The easier solution is to use your monitor controller (you will need one if you upgrade to HD) - just route the Pro Tools outputs, the computer audio output, and whatever else you want into the monitor controller, and you can listen to any combination of sources through your monitors. I use both the Presonus Central Station and the Mackie Big Knob (don't buy a Big Knob) like this and it works well.
