Interesting that it seems Bergstrand is actually involved in the tracking process this time around (pretty sure he only mixed "The Apostasy") - I'm sure many are hoping for a return to the Demigod sound over The Apostasy, but personally I prefer the latter! And I wonder why they decided to have the drums so near to the wall in that big room. Also, that's sweet that the Heartz guys did "Organic...," but I hope they don't make as harsh a tone for Behemoth! And cool that they're having all these different engineers all come to Radio Gdansk, rather than the band jumping everywhere - looks like a fucking nice ass place!

I love Behemoth production, and I LOVE the production from that Decapitated album.
I am such a huge Behemoth fan and I totally can't wait for them to come here. I've missed them both times they've been to Australia and I refuse to miss them again.

The guys from Hertz Studios also recorded a few Vader albums (a friend of mine recorded the cd of his last band there).
The guitars sounded actually good although the guitar players sucked....

That video was crazy as usual. They have a hell of a collaboration going on there... I can't wait to hear the finished product. The Hertz guys as well as Bergstrand... whooo. Potential for best sounding metal record ever.
Also that place they were tracking in... had a surround setup of fucking huge Klein & Hummel 3 ways. Those things cost a few dozen grand each!!!!!

My political/economic vocabulary doesn't allow to describe precisely the structure, but that studio is a part of a radio station (Radio Gdansk), which is 100% owned by the Government (the State Treasure to be exact).

Eek, I hope they didn't do the mastering though - that album clips more than any other I have! (except maybe for Hypocrisy's Virus)

i have no idea but i found the production (i can't tell about the mastering alone though) to be pretty killer (a killer band helps too).
