new genres of metal

i was pondering recently about what someone could do to make a new style of metal. it seems like everythings been done or spliced with metal. like finntroll = polka, ensiferum = folk, nightwish = opera, etc. like what could someone do that hasnt been done? i was thinking maybe something like cave man metal, or maybe like space metal, whatever that would be. anyone got any ideas?

hah well, all the music i write is pretty good i think, i enjoy it, but its nothing different or special and sounds like typical melodic metal with some folk, so i was just thinking of what other styles could work. and i was just curious about what metal will sound like in the future.

I have thought of this recently... and I was thinking of maybe blue metal or grass metal where America uses its historical southern bluegrass roots in metal. This is just an idea, and thought of it when I started listening to folk metal. …I was raised listening to bluegrass, and I think that banjos and fiddles mixed with electric guitar, keyboards, metal singer would kick major ass. …go ahead and laugh, I am sure some will

everything that was good metal was created in the 80's and begining of the 90's and then everything died, now we have metallica and iron maiden , that's about it
