I spoke with Mike last night!!
Everything said so far is untrue...
Opeth is going in another direction...
they will be incorporating several new instruments in the new album:
mountain dulcimer, banjo, and penny (tin) whistle being just of few
Mike said it's going to be a brand new venture for Opeth...
a lot of songs he wrote don't even call for guitar.
Overall it's going to be a more country type stuff as opposed
to the black metal everyone here thinks it's going to be.
Opeth always said they were going unpredictable...
I for one really look forward to this new direction!!!

i use paint shop pro animator 3. (how i did my signature actually)...you can get a free trial on www.jasc.com
