A: Nile !!!!

Q: Did you know Tripp from Static-X is looking at 30 years in prison for luring girls on the internet, kidnapping them and raping them? He got caught with a 14 year old. Here's the question... will you still be able to listen to Static-X now after knowing the buzzsaw guitarist is a paedophile?

I'm not sure if I'd be able to listen to listen Static-X with or without knowing that. Jokes aside, I really haven't heard much at all of their music, and none in the last two years so I can't comment much...but on a general level, yes sure I could listen to their music as long as I liked it. If he wrote their lyrics, then some might get a whole new meaning though. :p

What are these bands that KC speaks of, Red Chord and Circle Of Dead Children, like?

A: Circle of Dead children are like Dying Fetus, but more mega brutal fast parts, like cryptopsy style. Red Chord are one of these American hardcore bands, a bit dillinger escape plan-ish, but they have mega beat downs "Its not gonna be alright... Its not GONNA BE OK" is chanted over the heaviest riff I have ever heard... and its pretty cool. http://www.hxcmp3.com/bands/3832/ You can download a track there!
Edit: (The one with the chanting outro I mentioned is called 'Dreaming in dog years', and is available at that link)

Q: What's your favourite guitar solo in a metal song?

A: It's not really a solo, but right now, the melodic riff in "Dechristianize" by Vital Remains. For real solos.. the one in CoB's "Follow the Reaper" comes to mind

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

A: Somewhere else.

Q: What happens to you when you have too much caffeine?

A: I get all :dopey:

Q: If there was a party with only people from this board and it wouldnt be difficult for everyone to appear, would you go? Do you think it would be a nice party?

\m/:)\m/Oh yes, I am in agreement, it's an amazing moment when it kicks in.

A: It would be a great party (assuming there'd be alcohol) and I'd love to go meet some of these guys, but I don't think Id be able to get out of the country (I have no money)

Q: Are you doing what you want to do right now?

A: well, at this precise moment, yes, listening to music, chatting with friends... of course, there's a couple of people i wouldnt mind chatting with as well, and now i just found out i have to interview a band i dont even really like in 5 hours and i know nothing about them, soooooo argh

Q: what would you ask Hocico if you were interviewing them?

A: No I dont

Q: What's your opinion on mp3's? Do you own most of your favourite albums? What makes you buy a cd you already have as mp3's?

A: I think mp3s are a good way to give a record a chance before buying it. Of the few albums I've got as mp3, I own almost all of them. And if I download an album and I really like it, I buy the record the next time I can afford to buy a few cds.

Q: Same.

I have waaaaay too many MP3s and favourite albums to be able to buy them all yet. Would need a job. So no, I don't own most of my favourite albums.

Where would you most love to work at?

A: id like to get paid for magazine work, or maybe work as a translator. my dream had always been to write, but ive read way too many great books since then to know im not good enough.
any job other than my old job would be good enough though.

Q: what do you think is the worst job ever?

A: Public school teacher in the U.S. :)

Q: You?

A: early. its a horrible habit specially because punctuality is not something good in this country. sometimes i find myself driving around just killing time so that im only 5 min early instead of 10.

Q: have you ever dreamed about something related to UM?

edit: and public teacher can't be the worst job out there, i mean the pay is shit but at least you still get some sort of feeling that you could be doing something useful/worthwhile and influencing people's lives. the type of telemarketing when you call people during their baths or dinners offering death insurance or the like must be worse. or maybe toilet-cleaners in wacken or something.

A: Yes. A lot, actually.

Q: How many e-mail addresses do you have?

A: I'm embarrassed to say :( there's the school one, hotmail/msn one, one for my family, one for mailing lists, the gmail one where most people write, whenever they do write that is. and these are just the ones i check, ive made more accounts in the past... :$

Q: and you?
