a: the weather is shit. the indian summer has ended today. :( it's 14 degrees and light rain, which makes me want to sleep for four months and resurface when this season is over. but, alas, i'm not a bear.

q: what's your opinion on non-anglosaxon bands singing in english? would you rather have them use their mothertongue or not, and why?

I definitely would. If they want to make some in English, that's fine.. but it does bother me a bit that everyone feels they have to make music in English.
(this answer is also coming from someone to whom lyrics are less important than they are to the average person)

Q: What languages do you like to hear spoken? Sung?

a: spoken: i'm curious about almost all languages, i like hearing different accents and intonations. sung: i like italian, english, spanish, german - but i don't hear much in other languages so i wouldn't know. i'm not a big fan of sung french.

q: what are you doing tomorrow?

A: Nothing worth mentioning. Going to school in the morning i guess, and then who knows.

Q: How about you?

a: work, gym, call to my parents to see if my dad is starting the new therapy, dinner, various degrees of depression depending on what i hear on the phone previously, some pages of le carre's 'the russia house' or other book, sleep.

q: is there any reason why you would go and fight a war? a real one i mean.

A: if someone attacked my country and wanted to take over it, or just get some part of it.

Q: in such a case, would you fight the war or would you prefer to go live happily ever after in another country?

I'd move. I have no interest in sacrificing my life for a country, or for its people, just because some politicians can't manage their differences without guns.
Well, to be honest, I wouldn't move. I would just wait for the police to throw me in jail for not taking part in the war.

How differently, if at all, do you behave on the Internet when compared to real life?

In many ways, quite differently. In others, similarly.

Q1: Who, of the members of this forum, would you say is your most opposite?
(In general or in any particular way)

Q2: With which member do you believe you would get along most in a real life setting?

A1: There are a few i could choose from, but i can't be bothered to think about it too much. I guess i could also say that there isn't a single forum member i feel strongly about in that way, which btw would be the most diplomatic answer to give. :p

A2: I could make a guess, but why break the tradition of being vague and mysterious? ;)

Q: Com' on, don't be such a chicken and answer the previous 2 questions! :heh:

Well I don't really know about opposites unfortunately...ah, probably idari. I don't think we share much.
I think I'd get along the best with Rusty. That's the only person here I dare making a guess of...don't know about the rest. Although I think Rusty might be a bit quiet...don't know since I haven't met him, just get that impression. Still, our music tastes intertwine here and there and I think we could hold a conversation without things getting awkward.

Kind of a cop-out, but I think I've asked enough new questions already...you answer Mag's question(s) now.

I actually tried answering then got frustrated and quit :p
they're hard

A1. I also don't want to single anyone out, but there are several people here with whose way of perceiving the world I don't agree and it can bother me.
A2. well, i don't think Northern Viking counts as he's part of my daily life anyway, so I'll have to say Thanatos. It would be cool to live in the same city. Though I feel mean answering this as there are so many cool people I'd like to see more of.

Q: What was it like when you first met someone from the Internet in real life (were you nervous, was it like you imagined, etc)?

a: i was a bit nervous, and things didn't go as well as i'd imagined. i was a teen and i'd been exchanging declarations of love with this guy i'd met on a mailing list for months, but we didn't even kiss on our meeting. we're still friends tho, after some 10 years. which is cool.

q: what's your heart rate in bpm terms?

A: 70.
Q: What are you good at?

A: Suzanne Vega - Tom's Diner

Q: You?
