next katatonia album

i feel the same way. it's the Opeth album (besides Damnation) i like the least. my favourite Opeth albums are: 1. MAYH 2. Orchid 3. Still Life
 
I love all of Opeth's work but my favorites are Blackwater Park, Still Life and Watershed, but all albums are amazing.

I would love Wilson to produce the next album, it's not that I dont think Katatonia can pull off another amazing record by them selfs but I think he can bring in some new stuff into the mix, as he did with Opeth.
 
Actually I'm getting really really excited (almost nervous :err:) about the coming album at the moment...
I've been totally alienated from Katatonia, because I think I've listened pretty much out of it what was in there quite some time ago..
Passionately I wait for new material!

I think next album will be just as great as the others, but only if the band will rely solely on their inspiration, taste and spirit. There are no bad choices in art. A bad choice is to follow somebody else suggestion.

I've always thought that the internet, and the online communities may really have the power to destroy bands. That can happen because it has shifted the real meaning of music art. Art is made for everybody, but is not made to please someone.
