But of course this is not metal or gothic rock.

i know dark sanctuary, since long time now. good group but they dont have nothing in common with katatonia and it's not what i expect from them.
i'm sure they will not loose the origin of the project...

i would like to hear a cross between viva emptiness and the great cold distance.
even though i'm sure it might not turn out that way, anything from them should be really good. i would just love to see how they would top the great cold distance. that was such a great album by them and they way that they mixed the light and darkness feel to it. with the female vocals i would say it's up to them really becuase i believe that jonas does a hell of a good job already so i would probablly prefer to keep female vocals out.

Well i guess we have had that discussion before so there is no reason for us to go there again. :)

I agree that Kata should stay away from it. I wouldnt be surprised if Natalie would appear on some future release though, some EP maybe.

I think next album will be just as great as the others, but only if the band will rely solely on their inspiration, taste and spirit. There are no bad choices in art. A bad choice is to follow somebody else suggestion.

I've always thought that the internet, and the online communities may really have the power to destroy bands. That can happen because it has shifted the real meaning of music art. Art is made for everybody, but is not made to please someone.
Well said!

Anathema isn't metal anymore and Coil is not a metal song so there's no problem with female vocs for me.It's not like a girl sings to Metallica or sth... In,A Natural Disaster female vocs work so fuckin fine for me,but I would like it also if it was only Cavanagh...

St wankah round my cock! Well my problem with female vocs in general is that they generally sound annoying and forced which is the case for almost all inclusions of them. "Coil" was definitely ruined for me.
