next katatonia album

There's a lot of Consternation about this album, isn't there. I guess they're busy Dissolving Bonds Inside The City Of Glass, up in yonder Scarlet Heavens.

I'm pretty Strained over this. I feel like I Am Nothing while I wait for A Premonition regarding this mysterious upcoming album. We're all Walking By A Wire on this one. Hold tight people.

As far as I can remember, for the last couple of albums they gave us some info into the recording process. There were even pics where Jonas was doing vocal recordings and Daniel behind his drums. I don't expect a summer release from Katatonia, so winter 2009/2010 seems more realistic (but I hope i'm not right on this...)

probably most of you (with Anders on top) will blame me for my words, but in my mind it would be nice to hear some core/emo inspirations on new album. In fact Katatonia is my guide through the world of emotions. And realeasing new album without any new ideas, inspirations is stupid i think.
 
why seek inspiration from genres that are weaker at achieving what Katatonia does with their own sound.

What the fuck is "core"?

Personally, I think they should get a little heavier on the next. I like where they were going with Great Cold Distance. They should keep working in that direction. I'm all set on the emo, but I don't even know what "core" actually is...

If they're talking about anything else, then I'm lost too..heh

I would like Katatonia to combine the two last albums..the diversity of Viva Emptiness and the darkness and perfect production, drumming and groove from TGCD. There is way too little groove in general in music. Dark music needs more groove! (more cowbell!;)

I don't miss the growling though. It would be a step back if they started that again...at least for me. Some screaming here and there like on Leaders is just goody though.
