Redfly, look at the date - it's old "news" and just April's Fools. Many people would stop taking the label and the band seriously if they really released such a statement.

I'm guessing he's helped Chuck write some lyrics, not wrote them all by himself. It's cool anyway, since he always comes up with some funny stuff.
I have no real problem with it either.Chuck has had help with lyrics before.Zetro can write,it's his voice I'm not the biggest fan of

Well, we finally have some date to look forward to. I wish it was earlier, but still better than Autumn. As for digipacks - I personally hate them. They are flimsy, easily get damaged and generally look poor (for the lack of better word), unless they are exceptionally well manufactured. Additionally, their size is different and they do not look good on the shelf. I'll take a normal jewel case over it any day. Just my opinion, of course. Still, the FoD digibook was real nice. I bought a jewel case in addition to that, though.
I agree,all I really meant was that I want a nice cd with all the extras if there is one.And that usually means digi pack.
I wonder why this stuff isn't available on the Nuclear Blast US site? I don't want to pay a fortune for shipping.

That cover art is awesome! 
I wish they'd used the classic Testament logo though, it would have suited that cover better I think. 
That gold colouring with the classic logo would have looked amazing with that artwork...
As for a bonus track being a "remake of a classic title track", presuming he was talking about a Testament title track, I'm amazed nobody has mentioned "The New Order" as possibility for the re-recorded track.
Or even "Low"... seeing as Alex didn't play on the original version of that. They might want to re-do that with Alex playing the solo.
But July 27th? That seems ages away! Seems like I've already waited an eternity for this album! lol

Amazing cover! Ditto about the classic logo, though. The new one's ok, but nothing when compared to the old. As for the remake, I mentioned TNO is unlikely. Come on, they re-did it on FSSD. Why re-redo it?
EDIT: Just checked Bbm out. Can anyone explain to me the purpose of having two different release dates for Europe and the US? I'm no expert but this shouldn' help the first week sales in the latter (glad the gap's not as long as in the case of the last Heathen album). The album will have been out for 4 days already and some of the most hardcore fans will have purchased it in Europe, while some other will have downloaded it or at least checked it out and postpone the purchase for some reason. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't one, common release date create a bigger expectation and buzz throughout the world, which results in an explosion of sales during the first days following the release?

Damn, I hope the CD/DVD version will be available in a jewel case, not just a shitty digipack. Anyway, I finally get the feeling it's happening, even though 2,5 months seems like ages.

At last! Though I can't help noticing the lack of a re-recording of a classic Testament title track in any of the versions' bonus'... I have a feeling someone may have misunderstood what Alex meant by that. "Powerslave" is a classic title track, maybe he was meaning that?
