How is "thrash" and "melodic" in opposition anyway? I understand "thrash" means brutal to you, but "True American Hate" is both in my ears. Anyway, Testament's great at all kinds of songs and let's hope for some variety on DROE
100% agreed! "True American Hate" contains quite a bit of melody. In fact, the only two sections of the song which aren't melodic, is the 2nd part of the choruses, and the verses. All the other parts of the song are melodic. Both Alex and Chuck have stated that the album is diverse, which music to my ears!
Someone on here recently claimed that there are no slower songs on the album at all, the ballad aside, which would mean that the rest of the album is fast, and totally contradicting what the guy in that thread you posted is trying to claim. When I hear claims like that from an official source, then I'll accept it as proof.
