NFL 2010

That was a pretty impressive performance. Hopefully they made Favre go away for good. The Bears even left quite a few points on the table. Four short field goals. Red zone offense will need to improve to win in the playoffs. Having a home game will be huge, whether it's in round one or two. It'll be an interesting game against the Jets next week.

GB killed themselves??...maybe the Pats D had something to say about that. Causing some key turnovers and stopping them in the 4th quarter at the goal line was the difference...kept it at a one possession game. I knew at that point Pats would find a way to win like real good teams do...regardless of how the game is playing out or a performance is going...be it good or bad. Sure Pats kind of stole one lastnite and a rookie QB did some things to bring up thier defensive concerns again. But they made the plays when they had to.

GB did good overall with that backup quarterback, but I think they could of beat the Pats. Packers dropped many good passes and their tackling was weak and horrible. The last play of the game was real bad. Packers did impress because many thought that game would be a blow out.

Bears killed the Vikings, terrible game for the Vikings. They are done.

Sure, GB did well and pretty much had the game. And as well as the rookie played...I'm sure Rogers manages the clock / last play better? But you can't drop passes, have weak tackling as you say. Need to put the good teams away, make more plays or they come back and bite ya in the ass...like the Pats did.

-Yes, Vikes are done...but I sure hope for hells sake Favre is finally done? Just retire for good, put the ego away.

-The Bears v Jets should be an interesting matchup. I believe its much more important game for the Jets? Wonder if its a possible "lay down" game as mentioned earlier (Bears)? Though, they must be playing for homefield or sum'n?

-Man can't wait, these playoffs should be great...its wide open for everyone imo.

HEY! HEY! :kickass:

Not that I'd agree but I'm sure some would say Falcons, Saints, Eagles are better than the Pats. And I don't care about the (colts) injuries...Peyton could still carve up any defense come playoffs...if they make it?

The Pats are on top now...but thier defensive flaws could show up and hurt them in playoffs. At the same time thier defense has steadily improved and recently has looked even great -shutting some teams down (bears & jets) so who knows? Like I said its wide open this year...flaws are everywhere. Pats have as good a chance to win it as anyone. I certainly didn't think this at the beginning of the year...basically kind of being a rebuilding year and having the leagues youngest defense.

As much as I hate to say it, I do believe the Pats are the best team in the league at this point. That has more to do with how inconsistent and indominate the teams in the NFL have been this year than how consistent/dominating the Patriots have played.

If Tampa beats Seattle I will have to become a Falcon fan for Monday night. :puke:

Then Tampa would have to beat New Orleans the last week of the season, & Green Bay has to lose 1 of it's 2 remaining games. If we can do that we can get in. So the NFC playoffs will look like this IMO.

NFC South Div Falcons
NFC North Div Bears
NFC West Div who knows & who cares
NFC East Div Eagles
Wild Card Saints
Wild Card Giants

I do not feel that Tampa deserves to get in at this point, especially with the heart breaking loss to the Lions. I at least want a chance to make the playoffs when we play the Saints so I can see what we are truly made of when a playoff spot would be on the line. I think the Saints will win due to all of our key injuries on defense, but I still want the chance. Going 3-13 last year to 8-6 this year has been a great ride, and I don't want it to end yet. Next year we are going to be a force to be reckoned with as long as we can add a few key pieces in free agency or the draft. It would suck so much if there is not football next year as my team is finally headed in the right direction.

Oh & as for my Superbowl prediction: Steelers vs Bears

The Cowboys were eliminated faster than the French Army...faster than the Jamaican bobsled team...Badbird at a play-date...King D from a local bar...Alex and Katie from idol...Favre from a game...me from my in-laws during the holidays...

hey this is fun anyone else got any?...;)
