I think people should go to Slayer concerts nowadays and boo them off the stage, personally. Maybe Tom Araya could shout angrily at the crowd in that one same monotone note that he sings/shouts every fucking song in now. Generally I don't agree with fans who always cling to a band's old days and despise the new days, but I definitely fondly listen to "Live Undead" and shake my head sadly to think of what's become of them now. Can't deny their fame and legacy though, I'll give them that....
A Slayer show was more of an experience back then than anything. It sounds cheesy to say but there was a feeling of danger and this amazing amount of energy at the show that I haven't experienced much at a concert since then. I could never understand the booing thing though, that always irked the shit out of me. Even when bands got booed offstage, it never really got Slayer onstage any faster anyhow. I'm sure the doofus fans didn't realise this fact though at the time.
Trouble on the other hand sound fucking great these days. I've never seen a "bad" Trouble show ever. What a great band.
