Novembre...

I got one of their albums like a year ago and found it kinda nice in the beginning but got bored of it very quickly.

I think it was dreams d'azur.
I just know there was something to their sound that annoyed me.

Novembrine Waltz has very hooky melodies and great song writing in general. Its only downpoint is track 5, if i remember correctly, which was written by some chick who sings it there... its pretty annoying, i always skip it.

Dreams D'Azur has some really nice bizzarre moments, and its feel is more raw. I love it. Its not as "song oriented" as Novembrine Waltz, but i like it for its uncompromising sincerity and individuality.

I hope you're not talking about Cloudbusting, cause that song is pretty damn cool. Not sure if that's on Novembrine Waltz though...

Edit: You are talking about cloudbusting! Son of a bitch!

The person they got to sing on it is not the person who wrote it.

I like one song by Novembre but other than that, I didn't like their sound or their songs. The song I liked was Foto Blu Infinito (Instrumental)

yeah.. at first it was cool, but after 10 thousand listens i kept loving the rest of the album while hating that particular track... the problem with that track is that constant stacatto rhythm that never changes.. both verses and chorus use the same tum, tum, tum, tum... it just keeps going.... aaarrgghhhHH!!

It's a cover of a Kate Bush song... she's an English singer-songwriter from the late 70s to 90s. good song but I agree that it doesn't fit really well into the rest of the album.
