NR: Now Reading Thread:)

I must say I enjoyed every minute of 'The Colour of Magic'. It's been quite a while since I keept laughing out loud while reading. Loved it. The only thing I would've rather not have in the book was the part where they suddenly appear on the TWA flight. It felt out of place, which of course was the intention but still, it would've been better if he'd simply removed that section. An other solution to the problem would've been a whole lot more satisfying.
Btw, I just love DEATH:
-"HERE, TAKE THIS."
-Thanks.
"DON’T MENTION IT."
-Oh, no---.
"BUT YES.“

..and all the references to stuff. The book is just crammed with them...

Hey Urban,

it's great to hear that you enjoyed "The Colour Of Magic". The part with the TWA flight is indeed a bit weird, and I also thought it was out of place back when I read the novel. If you love DEATH, I am sure you will have fun with "Mort" and "Reaper Man".

Generally, in my opinion, Pratchett got better in his later novels, so if you liked "Colour Of Magic", I am sure you will not be disappointed by the rest of the novels you bought.

Cheers,

Daniel
