I saw the 'First CD you ever bought' thread and thought that this would be a good question to ask here. I'm guessing that there'll be a few interesting answers too.

I'd have to the worst album I ever bought would be:

Radiohead - Kid A

:erk:

However, the most embarrassing album I ever bought is:

Yngwie J. Malmsteen's Rising Force - Odyssey

:yow:

:puke:

NIN - 'THE DOWNWARD SPIRAL'

Seriously, what is this shit? 'Pretty Hate Machine' was awesome and then Reznor gave us this craptacular, sonically abusive beer coaster.

The worst album I ever bought was a band called Exorcist I forgot the name of the L.P.It was so bad.Even the cover was lame. :yuk: I later found out that the band broke up half way through the recording, and the producer finished off the L.P.I'll do some research on this now. It might bring back some bad memories. :ill:

Rollins band - turned on
im a huge rollins band fan but this is the worst live album ive ever heard, crap production and to make things worse the whole album is one track :erk:

I probably deserve a beating for this but....Pray for the Soul of Betty......$16 and 30 some odd minutes of my life that I will never get back... fuck..

I didn't buy this one, but was sent it to review - Ringo Starr's "I Wanna Be Santa Claus". I think I wrote that if Ringo was sincere, Santa should file a restraining order... yeesh... what a turdburger THAT one was.

If I had to say one I bought... and THIS selection would start some fistfights on other boards... Yes's "Tales From Topographic Oceans". This is what happens when you're in a band and you start believing your own press releases.

An lp by a German band called Vectom! Don´t (want to) remember the title.... Awful German style Power Metal (as far as I remember) with the worlds worst vocals :puke:

That Kid Rock, me and a friend had heard some of his songs and laughed our asses off so I just had to hear all the CD. Bought it and we laughed even more... then I remembered it was my money I spent on it... guess the joke was on me! :)

Which is really odd for Rollins isnt it?

Worst album I ever bought would have to be Throbbin Rod "Cow Porn Heaven"
a local band of dallas that actually emptied out one of the clubs "The Basement" ( made famous by Pantera and no longer exists as the Dart bus has built over it)
such songs as Queer drinkin Beer ( think HAnk Williams Sr)
Theres a queer drinkin beer
and he;s lookin at my rear
i think he wants to F*&k me in my butt

But Im not that way
no I aint F*&^@#n gay
But still he wants to F$#@ me in my Butt

Hes gonna keep on Pushin me
Till I bust his nose
but sometimes with them homos
thats the way it goes

( funniest thing I ever heard, absolutley the worst album ever purchased o_O

Technically I didn't buy this one, my girlfriend got me it on my birthday some years back on the advise some dick in the store gave her. "Limp Bizkit and the choclate starfish" or whatever the fuck it was..... she told him I liked Seps, thrax, metallica etc. and he came up with that????... needless to say i got rid at first op (the cd, not the bird).

I don't usually buy albums until i'm sure they'll be good (i'm a stingey fucker!) but one of my dissapointments was Biohazard "Mata leo". Thought it sucked!
