Nevermore - Dreaming Neon Black

Everyone has been praising that band album...bla bl bla...so I bought it. It's probably the worst cd I own together with Sacred Steel's Bloodlust.

What's really the deal with Warrel Dane?!? He sound like he's out of tune...all the time imho.

i thought napalm death would be awesome since they invented grind....but then i ordered the cd off amazon and it waS JUST NOISE. The drumming was all out of sync and the guitaring was crappy and repetetive. This shows that a band that invented a genre isn't always the best. I still consider cannibal corpse and exhume music because their is structure too it and the instruments are played fairly well but napalm death just sucks:-(

You like Corpse and Exhumed and yet you bag Napalm Death. I don't under stand. :guh: Which cd did you get?

Napalm Death are godz. Plain and simple.
 
I bought scum and at first, it being my first actual CD from Napalm, I wasn't too happy. Let me tell you, after spending time with it I really do enjoy, though I find it odd tha tthye have nearly thiry songs and only about 30 minutes of music. Heheh. I'm more partial to Opeth's Morningrise structure, the 10 minute songs....
 
Scum was such a blow to the whole scene when that came out. There was NOTHING like it. You must keep that in mind. Granted, to todays ears it is a very rough and dirty listen but when you get down to it, the songs themselves still stand up very well to todays climate. Think if they were re-recorded.
 
The biggest mistake I've ever made in buying an album BY FAR was Manowar's newest one; it's so bad I don't even remember the name of it, and I see the cd case on my entertainment center, but I'm just too damn pissed off at it to even get up and look.

WHY DOES THERE CONTINUE TO BE GAY METAL LIKE THIS? MANOWAR ARE GAY AS LIBERACE!!!

I swear, if I have to hear one more song like, "WE AHHH THE WAAHRIAAHS OF METUHL!!!!" one more time I'm going to go to the top of a bell tower and start shooting.

Manowar are a bunch of live-action role-playing homos who get dressed up in their homemade chain mail and play "let's be gay and act like medieval knights in the 21st century". Give me a fucking break. The music wasn't impressive AT ALL. The solos were a bunch of crappy scales played a million miles an hour, nothing memorable. Everyone says how "true" Manowar is, and how awesome they are. If Manowar is true, I'll be false as fuck. I'll take my Emperor, Hypocrisy, Arch Enemy, The Gathering, Opeth, Megadeth, Metallica, and Soilwork and go the fuck home.

It still pisses me off to know that I actually spent money on crap like this. At least if I just gave it away, it would go to someone who probably needed it. These guys are just gonna buy more chain mail with the money I paid for it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've heard that the only difference between grind and gore (Cannibal Corpse) is the lyrics. Gore has splatter lyrics, while grind has other stuff (political/satanic or some stuff).
Also, how can you know what he likes and dislikes? I know it might just be a joke, but still...
