I didn't mean to get TOO high on myself...But those four teams coming in for me got me $3000 this week and I just got excited You thought the post was bad??? People watching that Steeler win with me last night got it FULL ON!!!

Again, I didn't mean to be a dink...But dude..I'm just excited!!

Shyeah! I'd be excited too. I didn't think you were a dink. I was just taking an opportunity to hassle you a little. :D

Well. I definetly had it coming that much I know:D :dopey:

Well Wheezer, This is it...Much like the guys in the post below it's your team against mine (It's not really fair though, because if the Broncos knock off the Pats I'll have no problem rooting for them the rest of the way) I got to be honest with you....The Pats looked AWESOME on Sat!!! I haven't quite made my picks yet....I need a little more time to get all the facts, stats & info but this is going to be a great weekend of football!!

If N.E. beats Denver on Sat night...I'm pulling for a Steeler upset hardcore!! It would be great to have the AFC Championship game out in the elements in Foxboro instead of the RCA Dome...

I'll give you guys one pick right now...Panthers Over Bears!!!
Carolina is probably the most balanced team in the playoffs right now as far as offense & defense goes..If they shut down Thomas Jones, Rex Grossman won't be able to beat them himself (It's a shame too because I wanted to see the Bears back in the Bowl against N.E. for the 20 Year Anniversary of that game) But they just don't have the firepower.

Speaking of firepower...I'm spending some of that cash on a new Glock 29..

I'll have no problem rooting for the Pats the rest of the way should they win. I gotta tell ya, it's feeling like the '97 playoffs around here. I'm so stoked for this game that I can hardly contain myself. My best friend is coming out from Iowa for the game. We're tailgating from about 2:00 in the afternoon up until about an hour before game time. Brats, beer, the early game on a portable TV, tons of Broncs fans in the parking lot. And it's only Tuesday! How the hell am I supposed to make it to Saturday? :D

I'm the same way. I want Pitt to win. I've got tickets to the AFC Championship game if Denver and Pitt both win. :headbang:

Sweet! You be careful with that now! ;)

WIll the winner of the Chicago Panthers game represent the NFC in the Superbowl? I have been hearing this since Sunday. I'm starting to believe...
I think so...Seattle is the most OVERRATED team in these playoffs thus far..Since The Bengals got bounced!
And I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Washington beats them this weekend..
(They can't hang with teams that bring the strong "D") Unfortunatley for the Bears I think The Panthers are just the better all around team (I hope I'm wrong, but if I'm betting...I'm taking the Panthers) It probably won't matter (Unless The Bears represent the NFC because of their sick defense) the AFC Teams (Pats, Steelers, Broncos & Colts) are all better teams and will more than likely deliever the Super Bowl back to the AFC..

I don't think you'll need those tix. Indy at home in the dome...too much for the Steelers. I'm thinking the Steelers will have to be playing catch up in the 2nd half and Rothlisberger(sp?) is not that kinda QB.

I am one who is sold on the Seahawks. I think their defense is underrated and they have all they're WR's healthy, D Jax, Engram & JJ, and of course the best RB in the NFL. I think Seattle has their way with Skins.

I think Indy has a good chance to come out rusty after a month off and have to play catch up. Both the AFC games are too tough to call, IMO. The easy pick is certainly Indy.

I think Seattle is for real too. Although being in the NFCW sure hasn't helped them with tough competition. They aren't really great at anything but they're pretty damn good at almost everything.

Unfortunatley I agree....As much as I want the Steelers to win (And I really, really do!!!!) They just don't have the firepower..But that being said I'm still pulling for either the upset or that Pitt beats them up bad physically making playing them the following week that much easier for the Pats/Broncos winner..

You're far from alone on that Whisper....Everyone I work with and just about everyone I know who watches football thinks I'm crazy to be taking Washington but this is why we watch the games...I'm fully expecting the upset in this game (Though if The Steelers want to win instead i'll take that)

I like the Broncos this week, Wheezer. How can you go against Jake and the 70's porn star mustache.:D

:kickass:    :kickass:

He's sure catching a lot of crap for the long hair and beard. It's funny to an extent but a lot of Jake's reasoning for it is as a tribute to Pat Tillman. He hasn't made any headlines about it that way but it has been mentioned here and there.

Jake is crazy cool though!!! (No sarcasm...) If we didn't have Tom Brady i wouldn't mind having Jake running the team....

I hate to say it, but I like the Broncos over the Patriots,
The Colts over the steelers, The Bears over the Panthers,
and The Redskins to beat the Seahawks....

Pats over Broncos (Until someone beats them I can't pick otherwise...)

Colts over Steelers (I want to be wrong about this one SOOOO BAD!!!!)

Panthers over Bears (Carolina is more balanced on both sides of the ball)

Redskins over Seahawks (I think it's me, you *Sixxswine* And The Redskins picking this one)

Please let me be wrong about Indy!!!!

There's a bit of a story that goes along with that pic of him and me. It's funny now but at the time I was crapping my drawers. Here's the entire recap for that Fan Fair. The Jake part is in the sixth paragraph:
