It pained me on some level to do that to be honest. He was very smart and expressed himself well... and had a serious level of musical theoretical knowledge. He was also correct in his observations of how this forums members act, post and generally butcher logic and civility. I had asked him via PM to use his assets to lead by example.... However, he unfortunately chose to let his scorn for these characteristics dominate the theme of most of his posts. On the other hand I don't feel bad because I don't think he really cared if I banned him or not.... and now he's free to find another bastion of musical ignorance and poorly executed arguments to lay siege to.
