ORR better yet, you extend the solo section to 5 or 6 parts instead of 4, and have as many people as they want contribute their own solos.

I transcribed it once so I'd say I know it 95%. EDIT: If you want the bass guitar first I mean.

Hey guitarguru777, are we going to do the solo parts last? I haven't nailed the arps yet, but I've gotten pretty close. Also, you mentioned sending you our clips clean with no distortion or anything. Do you want the solo like that too? I can try to play the solo on the clean channel....but, it will take many takes of recording haha.

I'm thinking distorted should be okay, provided you track down a good sound. The deal with getting the rhythm clean is so he can reamp it and make all the takes sound as uniform as possible. With the lead, that's not really so necessary.

Okay I think I have the part at 0:26 worked out from the actual track. Is the riff at 0:38 the same rhythm as the tab, or the same rhythm as the part at 0:26?

All leads can be tracked with Distortion but please NO EFFECTS... no delays or reverbs.

Ill be uploading the drum track later tonight.

Yes, one mimicks the other and the tempo is 156bpm from what I gather...I started recording my part and I'll be finished before the week is out, I leave for Eastern Europe for 2 weeks on Saturday

Its the same but with mutes and powerchords on the the notes that are a bit longer.

And MACvodka, I also wonder why 4 different persons should do the rythm, It will get really sloppy.

it WILL be sloppy for sure, but the reasoning behind it is so we can get as many people involved as possible. I dont think it would be fair to have only 2 rythm guitarists, there are SOOO MANY guitarists on this board that doing it this way. as we move through the tunes we will have more people able to participate
