I don't hate this, but it always makes me laugh. In DT's "The Glass Prison," when they're doing that call and answer thing, and it goes, "I need to learn," "Teach me HOW!"... James just sounds so shrill on that last phrase, it's great. Good song, though.

After listening to Blackwater Park a bunch of times, I started to be bothered by when Mike says "Lost are days of Spring". He pronounces "Lost" strangely.

WARRIORS? Omg this is gay. "And the mighty armies marched through the holly land awaiting their fate" WHAT HOLLY LANDS! NO HOLLY LANDS! NONE!... WHAT FATE?! THEY WILL DIE!..plus, this "Warrior" thing was invented by medieval literates who liked to think warriors were great and strong and brave, while they were gay, coward and poor. ok but here comes the best. That's the way I feel about it. Sure, Rhapsody might be singing about warriors and dragons on the surface. But underneath is love, hate, anger, sadness, joy, revenge... all parts of the human condition. Beneath the power metal fantasy is, "There might be a lot of bullshit and adversity, but you can overcome it." I don't see what's so gay about it.

And fantasy is popular! I don't get where the stigma of fantasy/being a huge nerd comes from. If only nerds liked fantasy, then how come the Lord of the Rings books/movies are so wildly successful?

I would apologize for the rant, but this thread is the time and the place for it. Kinda nice to have this around.
