Sexy. How does the seven-string Schecter sound through the 6505?

Yeah good man. I'm not really liking the bridge 707, I'll be swapping it out for an 81-7 when I can afford it, but yeah, it sounds nuts, not so much down low, but crank it a little bit and it brightens up a lot and sounds wicked.

I'm sure it sounds... eh. It looks like you EQ your amp without the intent of actually having a good tone and without any knowledge of what the controls correspond to.

Also, the third person stuff is annoying.

Yeah, there's no way that sounds good...especially in a band context, where I bet you have a pretty hard time hearing yourself with those settings.

+ Peavey cab = FAIL TONE

Put the gain around 11 o'clock and report back when you're not playing like a little girl.

We had a session guitarist in Kastigation at one point who played through a 6505+/Peavey cab and he got a good tone, but then again he had a Jeff Loomis Signature 7 string w/Blackouts, so most of his tone came from his guitar.

HAHAHAHA i just noticed his eq. that is soooo fucking sterotypical thats just fucked up

my 5150 is dialed in with...

gain-7
bass-7
mids-5
treble-8
presence and resonance both around 8/9

i still have to play around with it thought seeing as i just got it
i usually have the mids higher than the bass but i didn't like what it sounded like to much with the 5150, but for now it sounds great
