Bass player turned guitar meddler?

I looked at the EQ on your Randall, the mids are bottomed out and the lows/highs are boosted. Got any sound samples? It looks like a fun amp.

it is a fun amp. people always knock it cuz its a solid state
but personally i think it kicks ass. unfortunately, i havent got anything to record with right now. soon though

Nothing wrong with solid states
Can get some really good sounds out of em.
Im using an Ampeg vh140c.
Dying Fetus still uses it.
Chuck from Death used a Marshall 8100
and didnt Dimebag use solid states for a real long time?

no reason to throw down $1500 on a tube when you can spend well under $500 on a solid state

SNIP...no reason to throw down $1500 on a tube when you can spend well under $500 on a solid state

In my opinion either one can be engineered into sounding just fine on a recording. In such a tone/sound quest it's easy to forget about music, which is what it really boils down to.

yeah the warhead was designed by dimebag i think.. its got his signature on it anyways.

Marshall... can't go to a gig without seeing their logo. They are launching a drum company now too! Got Whitesnake on-board already.

Goodly Sir Mushroony! This humble knight hath soiled his armor in a way most pleasure'iffic, from thine arsenal of guitar and amplification pornographies!
A query have I for thee, Sir Mushroony, concern'eth'ing thine preferrede axe: ye Washburn Idol! How doth this banshee-with-sixfolde-strings compare'th to His Majesty Lester Paul's namesake weapon? (Methinks both sport'eth substantial timber and heft!)
Hath ye Idol been tune'thde to standarde E, or mayhaps a lower register?

This post now concludeth!
