FIRST: list some weird bands you like, but are quite ashamed to admit... maybe.

SECOND: list some METAL bands that you think any Bodom fan should listen to, but most don't know (if you know any):

- Antestor
- Malice Mizer (japanese, very weird and strange band)

There is a band that I fuckin love and it seems it isn´t very known..... It´s call "RAPTURE", and they have only 1 record, called "FUTILE".

Just incredible. It doesn´t sound like CoB, but you should give them a chance. If you like old Katatonia ´till their "Discouraged Ones", this album is for you.

The first band is from Portugal,

Heavenwood - Emotional Wound
This is from their first album, gothic-death-metal, but still very calm. A bit like Eternal Tears of Sorrow latest album, but slower.

Heavenwood - Suicidal Letters
From their second album, not goth-metal, a bit death but still calm.

The second band is swedish, and is SO FUCKING TALENTED!

Ebony Tears - Nectars of Eden
listen to this song. listen to them.

So melodic death metal, so GOOD!

You have to check Ebony Tears out!

anyway, some of you posted some strange bands indeed.

I'd like to specify the styles of the bands I posted, so if you get interested you can look for them.

Sanctifica: black metal
Antestor: sorrowful, atmospheric black metal
Malice Mizer: kind of like... Castlevania/metal

you should definitely try "Dark Desires" by Sanctifica and "Beast of Blood" by Malice Mizer.


another thing... if you could specify the styles of the weird bands you post like Samarkol did for example, I'd be grateful... I am always in the search for new stuff.

Ummmm.. as for metal bands that aren't very well known... I guess everything I listen to is pretty popular in the metal world.

Turmion Kätilöt

It's a metal band. Members: Somnium (Finntroll), Late (Ancient Drive). Drums 'n stuff made with computer and so on, but well, listen to yourself:

when you say "wierd music" i think of stuff that would be amazing to listen to while on shrooms...for example, as racer-x said.....mr. bungle....but also things like....

-Mike Patton (creator of mr. bungle and faith no more, but his solo shit is so much better.....get the Mike Patton song "Area 877"....its soooooo fucked up)

-World Inferno Friendship Society (really wierd but awsome in my opinion...get the song "friend to the friendless")

-Fantomas (sort of like Mr. Bungle)

-Pink Floyd...of course

....if youre 100% metal, forget about trying any of this...but if you have an open mind and like "wierd" shit, try this stuff out...
