two really big bands in their countries but which i think don't get talked about as much as they deserve:

Grave Digger \m/
and Running Wild \m/

plain ass heavy metal... when we put on our CoB and Sonata Arctica albums, we wonder how is it such a divine sound came to be developed? these bands above are what heavy metal can't go without... from that point on, bring on the keyboards and melodicness and classical influences

Unknown bands I worship (almost only french ones):

- Agalloch (excellent american band, sounding like a scandanivian one)
- Belenos
- Forbidden Site !. Too sad they've already splitted.
- Gronibard ( especially "Détends ton prépuce avec un abat-jour, ça fera une parabole" )
- Hegemon (excellent BM band)
- No Return (starts to get renowned)
- Novembre (I guess there's an italian metal scene besides Rhapsody )
- Saturnus (wonderful danish band)
- Your Shapeless Beauty (dark metal, same singer as Hegemon's)
