Press Release 21.02.2011

POWER QUEST is pleased to announce a number of European dates for 2011; the band will play Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg for the very first time in April. The venues will be confirmed shortly. Singer Chity Somapala is excited about the opportunity:

“It’s about time we met our massive fan base in the Netherlands and Belgium, and in Luxembourg I also hope to see some of our German fans! I am so looking forward to this, we’re gonna kick some serious ass for sure on this tour – Blood Alliance is a killer album!”

Steve Williams adds: ”We had so much positive feedback on the last European tour with Angra and Firewind in France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland and Portugal, but unfortunately were not able to cover more countries. There are many elements that make international touring pretty difficult these days. So I am really glad we have now the chance to do that! See you on the road!”

“Blood Alliance” was released in Japan on 26th January and has received tremendously positive feedback amongst the media and the fans. Europe and the US will be seeing the album towards end of March.
Pre-ordering is available at online stores or directly from Napalm Records:

These 3 shows are just a one/off trip. Really it is testing the water to see what the reaction of the fans will be.

Hopefully the shows will be well received and we will be able to come back for more shows later in the year!

Excellent news for PQ this :D The European tour did the fans and the band great favours last time and I wish the lads one hell of an epic road trip! I will do everything I can do get to some of these

South of the Netherlands, near the Belgium border in a place called Eindhoven.

You're playing on the 16th not far from it. 1 hour drive the most :)

I'll try to attend on the 15th.

p.s. slap the booking agent in the back of the head please, with my regards...

Ehm no ! I looked wrong !!!! it's on the 14th !!!!

Tell your booking agent to get you guys some tickets :D You'll be playing 1 day later 2 hours away from that place !

These are not the droids you're looking for.....now go see Megadeth.....

Very much looking forward to these shows and meeting new audiences. A Steve says, hopefully we can get out over the continent later in the year too!

Looking forward to the show in De Kade. Make sure to soundcheck properly! The soundguy there doesn't always get things exactly right. He was killer when Jorn played there a while back, but the sound for the guitars and keys was off for half the gig when Threshold played there last.

Looking forward to seeing that flag on stage, Steve ;)

As are we, Gavin and Paul :)

Btw, Dom, if you need a place to crash: I'm prolly crashing at a friends place when PQ are playing De Kade. I might be able to get you a spot there, if you bring your own sleeping bag :p
