Just sounds like a lot of whinging over nothing really, so if you focus on the positives and not just need an attention-seeking talking point, it's an essential album.

That said, 2007 did not produce a landmark release. The Terrorizer top 40 list was horrendous. If the DsO was the best album of the year then 2007 was fucked. Compare your best album of 2007 to previous years and behold the void.

2007 has been one of the best years for Metal in quite a while, in my opinion. But then again we obviously look for different things in Metal.

While the album is no slouch and has it's moments, I was rather underwhelmed for the most part. It is better than TGW though.

I think he's saying that if you don't like certain parts of this album and don't think it's essential, then you're just looking for attention. Now that he has pointed this out, I realize the obvious truth behind what he said. I only don't like certain parts of To The Nameless Dead and I don't think that it's essential because I just want people to note my opinion and to see that I don't conform to the norms.
