Ragnarokkr 2017: who do you want to see

Does Odin not like Black Sabbath? Cause Orchid's second album has some of the best songs Sabbath never wrote. I personally think they would go over very well.

I had a dream last night that the first 3 bands were announced. They were:
Quiet Riot
S.D. Mega (which I'm pretty sure is a memory card, not a band)
and I don't remember the name of the last band but it had something to do with giant robots

that is an odd dream. There is talks of an old hard rock band and we did want S,A. Slayer but that is near impossible. So your dream was not far off.

Ya'll probably don't want too many repeats but Q5 had a great gig in Seattle on Friday night for their new album. The record itself is pretty meh but in a live setting the songs were much better. I think Rags needs at least one super rad "party" kinda band like that every year. Last year it was The Rods and Q5, this year Tygers nailed it. Gotta grab another for next year.

I know mike wants to cut down on repeat bands...he usually tries to way at least 2 years before bringing them back. There is going to be one or two "rock" type bands that are a "party" type band. It makes it fun and it seems to go over really well.

Maybe some old Canuck rokkas?

M-A says they are active, they apparently have one of the older Into Eternity vocalists fronting them. Dunno if they've played outside of Western Canada in decades, haha. Fun tunes tho.

EDIT: Looks like they play the Prairie casino circuit still, sounds not bad! Nice harmonies

Glacier would be cool. Also Helix & Heathen

I saw Helix back in 1985. Great times. In 2008/9 I caught Brian Vollmer play Helix songs with a Metallica cover band. Ok times. He was good but calling that Helix wasn't.

Get Blaze Bayley if possible. Amazing live performer and decent chap.
