To each their own of course, but it's just not really socially acceptable to be say, 30, 25 even and have tats, metal shirts, gratuitously-dyed hair, etc. I don't know of any successful people who fit this description. Success, of course, is a relative term. Anyway, I think women might regret this later on because, well, women seem to age a little more quickly than men and while being "metal" at 20 may be cute or even hot, at 30 it's embarassing and distasteful.
