Recabinet

Lol my bad dude, I just assumed. That is pretty funny though. I'm sure somebody here can quad track something for ya.

I couldn't get the impulses to load in Altiverb but the other versions worked ok in Pristine Space.

All you have to do is drag the "Recabinet Demo Altiverb" folder into your Altiverb Impulse Responses folder. Then refresh the IR list in the Altiverb plugin, and you should see it in your list.

Rest assured, there will be a manual when the full version is released, and the manual will be for both the demo and the full version (free pdf download.)

Happy jamming! :headbang:

I have the same problem as one of the guys earlier posted - when i use KeFIR , impulses are veryyy quiet , working ok with boogex. I use nuendo and simulations from gearbox plugin. Didn`try with real amp.

yup +1 on these impulses being super quiet in Kefir. they also have a weird ringing sound to them I can't get to go away... it lives in the whole EQ range apparently. I was using my Invader 100's FX loop send as the input.

Yeah I'm having the same problem here, I was actually going to use these impulses on a track I'm mixing tonight but I couldn't get rid of the strange ringing noise. Plus I had to turn the track wayyyyy up.

An update on Kefir - I've done some additional testing tonight and you guys are right. Very strange because in our initial tests, Kefir was working with no problems. This warrants further investigation, but for the time being, Recabinet 1.0 will be dropping support for Kefir.

I highly recommend you guys use Voxengo Boogex instead, it is a better plugin IMO and it is also free.

Not that it really matters since it's free and I can just try it out for myself, but... what's the difference, exactly?

Boogex is an ampsim and an impulse loader all in one. To bypass the ampsim (it's actually decent, but if you don't want to use it...) just turn the tone, drive, and dynamics knobs all the way down.

Then just load any IR in and jam away with your existing preamp or ampsim in front of it. Be mindful that the default EQ settings cut a bit of low and high out that you might want, just play around with it.

Another AWESOME feature is the built in phase adjuster knob. :headbang:

As a Mac guy, I just wish they would make a Mac version.
