Replacement copy? If not, how did you not own it earlier?! Metallica's best album in my opinion. James' vocals, the riffs, solos and Lars' drumming are just perfect.

Also I picked up Machine Head's The Blackening a couple days ago.

The Lackening

The Blackening is pretty decent really, which I find surprising considering the obvious metalcore influence. I was quite impressed with parts of it, others had me cringing a bit (Flynn's whispering for example). As a whole I like it though. It can't compare to their first two, but it's definitely their best since The More Things Change.

I think The Blackening is great. Other than Aesthetics of Hate (meh) and Slanderous (fucking terrible) I love all the songs on there.

I'm gonna try to not buy anything for a few days..... Lets see how that goes.

Its not too bad. I'm not sure its as good as his previous efforts IMO. Its definitely rockier than his other ones but has some other elements that he's not used before which is good. Especially in The Man Who Laughs.
